Everyone who has believed in Jesus should be baptized. Baptism is a statement to the world that you know Jesus.

Obedience – Jesus told us that we should be baptized in the name of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. When you are baptized, you are obeying Jesus.
Identification – When you are baptized you are saying to the world, that you have believed in Jesus and you are not ashamed of Him and His good news. You identify with Him meaning that you are saying to everyone that you believe Him.

• as you stand in the water you identify with His death,
• as you are lowered into the water you identify with His burial,
• as you come up out of the water you identify with the resurrection of Jesus.
