  • Pray for Ann Sanderson, who fell and broke her wrist and had surgery yesterday [Tuesday].
  • Pray for Roger Knapp, who had cataract eye surgery yesterday.
  • Pray for Eva Sisk, who is under Hospice Care.
  • Pray for Peggy Newton, as she will have knee replacement surgery on September 14, and for her daughter, Christy, who started oral chemo.
  • Pray for Felicia Atnip’s niece’s twin daughter Zoe, for healing from brain damage due to seizures. She is 5 1/2-weeks old.
  • Pray for Larry Whitt, as he is now home from rehab but now has Covid.
  • Pray for Ronnie and Belinda Cribbs, as they are dealing with Ronnie’s health issues.
  • Pray for Connie Larry’s brothers’ and sisters’ health, along with the Scruggs family.
  • Pray for Jim Forbes’ cousin, Cindy Curtis, who broke her ankle and had to have surgery.
  • Pray for Shirley Fox, as she regains her strength.
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
  • Pray for Bill Perkins, our guest speaker, for our 123rd Church Anniversary on October 21-23.
  • Pray for Karla Ray, that her wrist will heal without surgery. She fell Saturday morning and broke it and the doctor put a cast on it.

  • We are thankful that John Madagan and Scott Vaughn had successful knee surgeries!
  • We are thankful for Kingslea, as she is back in VA and had her last drain removed yesterday!
  • We are thankful that Riley Parker (John’s wife) has been selected for the second week in a row as The SEC Offensive Player of the Week for women’s soccer! She plays for the University of Alabama!
  • We are thankful for Charles Dillard, as he was chosen as the employee of the month, at his work!

  • Jasper McFarlen had successful oral surgery and is recovering at home.
  • Tom Armstrong stayed at least one night in the hospital after his knee surgery. The doctor “has given him a lot of antibiotics so they want to watch him and then he will be discharged [Friday].”
