  • From Heather Moore:  “My mom is declining even more. We brought her home from … a respite facility on Thursday, and she has been struggling to eat for the last several days. We were finally able to get some food down her this morning. We are talking with her social worker to line up a long term care facility. Please pray that the Lord would help it to all go smoothly and that she can get the care she needs.
    Denny’s mom, Jayne, is also declining. She has a malignant mass in her left lung and part of her spine and esophagus. We are getting appointments set up to determine the next steps for her. She is scheduled for cataract surgery March 6th but we are uncertain if they will recommend keeping that appointment at this time. So we ask for wisdom in making the right decisions for her.”

  • Pray for Turkey as they recover from a mammoth earthquake and the aftershocks. May God’s purpose of redemption be experienced in many lives. 
  • Pray for Myra Curtis and Charles Hill and their family in the passing of her mother and his sister, Annie Ruth Terrell.
  • Pray for Judy Armstrong in the passing of her brother, John Schomer (Illinois).
  • Pray for William Newton, who will be moving to rehab this week.
  • Pray for Amy Madison’s grandmother, who is in the hospital recovering from a stroke.
  • Pray for Paula Duncan’s granddaughter Erin, who is having severe medical issues.
  • Pray for Bro. Max Barton (former pastor), who is under hospice care with liver cancer.
  • Pray for Mary Yates as she is still recovering. 
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.

  • We are thankful for the team who went on our WeGo mission trip to Eutaw, AL!
  • We are thankful that Jimmy Adair is doing well after his open-heart surgery!
  • We are thankful that Lindsay Vandiver’s surgery went well and she is back home!
  • We are thankful for the birth of Anthony Charles Guevara on Feb. 13, 2023. Congratulations to Juan, Tori, and big brother Theo!
  • We are thankful that John David Gossett was selected to the All-Area basketball team representing Huntsville High School! His team plays in the Regional tournament today at Jacksonville State!
  • We are thankful for your faithful giving!

  • From a Grief Share attendee for Donna Hall (58yo), a mother who is in her final days in her battle with brain cancer.  Please ask for mercy and comfort to her and her family. (2/9)
  • Jan Kosovac asks we pray for her nephew, Scott, who has a problem with his blood platelets and is being treated with chemotherapy. Please ask our All Sufficient God to give strength and hope to Scott and his family.   (2/15)
  • Christie Queen asks we pray for a family member, Mike Capparelli (62yo), who was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. Please ask for mercy and peace towards Mike, his wife Trish and to the rest of the family, and ask for opportunities for the gospel. Tuesday the 21st is the next doctor’s appointment and consultation for a treatment plan, if recommended.  (2/15)

  • Arnold and Joyce Crumpton are recovering from Covid. Joyce says she is feeling pretty good but Arnold is still not back yet. Please continue to ask for healing and recovery.   (2/13)
  • Kathy Sanderson is recovering at home after her thyroid surgery and “waiting of on results from pathology. Praying that the cancer is gone. I go back to doc on Friday.”
