Requests:

  • Pray for the family of Bob Miller as he passed away at his home unexpectedly yesterday.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
  • Pray for Bill and Kathy Park’s grandson James, who is having surgery on August 11. 
  • Pray for Mistie Hutchison, the daughter of Hutch and Betty, as she is scheduled for a hip replacement on August 21.  
  • Pray for the Isenhower family that God’s grace will surround them as the birth mom decided to keep the baby and not consent to the adoption that was planned.
  • Pray for Todd Norton, in his recovery from knee replacement surgery on Monday.
  • Pray for the Isaac Mann family, who serve as our missionaries in Indonesia. Their daughter, Elly has been diagnosed with leprosy. Pray for the treatment she is under to be effective and that they find a way for preventive medication for the other family members. Pray they will be able to rest in the deep love and care of God. 
  • Pray for Lee and Polly Edwards’ grandson, Hunter, who had a seizure last week.
  • Pray for Deb Gordon, who is the wife of our missionary, Don Gordon, as she recovers from surgery and awaits results from another biopsy from her jaw.
  • Pray for Katie Zeller, who is the wife of our missionary, John Zeller, as she is scheduled for an invasive surgery to remove a large cancerous mass on August 10.  
  • Pray for the Second Chance Haiti children’s orphanage for their safety.  
  • Pray for Cindy Roper to regain her strength.
  • Pray for Chris Gunnels, who needs healing from brain cancer. 
  • Pray for the Fox’s son-in-law, Craig, who has terminal cancer and is very sick with Covid.  
  • Pray for the Aquila family as they take care of Abigail.    
  • Pray for Aaron Seals, who is 38 years old and under hospice care. He is a childhood friend of Mark Daversa and given 2-3 weeks to live. 
  • Pray for Dickman’s as they care for her parents with dementia, especially for stamina.
  • Pray for Peggy Newton’s daughter, Christy, who needs healing from tumors.
  • Pray for Connie Larry’s family.
  • Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and have been deployed for 6 months and are weeks away from returning back home! Pray for their protection and for their four children as well. 
  • Pray for all our church family members who are homebound at this time, to be encouraged in the Lord (Wally Fox, Joyce Crumpton and Joyce Scott).
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
  • Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening.

Updates:

  • We are thankful for Michael Cranston and Micah St. John planning a wonderful retirement reception for Kerry and Sherry St. John!
  • We are thankful that we had guests this past Sunday from Puerto Rico, Alaska and Dallas, TX!
  • We are thankful that David and Sherry Sedberry are feeling much better from their recent illness!
  • We are thankful that Betty Hutchison is back home after being in rehab!
  • We are thankful that Judy Rinkel was back in church Sunday after recovering from a fall at home!
  • We are thankful that Bob Eidson’s son-in-law, Eric was able to go home from the hospital!
  • We are thankful that Jordan Hauck was back in church Sunday following her hip surgery!
  • We are thankful for Dwayne Woodworth leading the Men’s Ministry in helping with some renovations at Bob and Diane Eidson’s home!
  • We are thankful for your faithful giving to our Lord!

Older Requests:

  • Lucille Szfraniec asks that we pray for members of her extended family: 1. Her brother-in-law, Pelligrino, lost his house in a fire. 2. Her brother, Angel, is in the hospital and recently lost his wife. 3. Pelligrino’s brother, Marlo, passed away. 4. Her sister-in-law, Lourdes, has Covid and in quarantine at home. Please come alongside Miss Lucille and ask for our Lord to be sovereign and merciful in each situation.
  • “Angie Williams has a nerve in her neck that is causing back problems and limited mobility in walking. She is thankful for the prayers as she continues therapy and starts using knee braces.”  [via Sandra Gossett]
  • Kathy Spray’s daughter-in-law, Tosha, is still experiencing issues of vomiting and anxiety. Please continue to pray for her health and reduction of symptoms.

Updates:

  • Sue Setzer’s foot surgery was a success. She has to be non-weight bearing so she is still in the hospital to be released to rehab soon.
  • Gladys and Roger Kapp’s granddaughter’s friend, Alexis, who was in a terrible car wreck, is making slow progress. Please ask Jehovah Rapha to heal her and for opportunities for the gospel.
