Prayer Requests 11/16/2023

• Paula Duncan’s granddaughter, Erin, is in a lot of pain from an enlarged spleen and liver. “Pray God’s healing hand will be on her.”
• Several families are needing wisdom for on-going care of family members and friends. “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James 1:5 (NLT)

Requests/Updates from Brother Scott’s Midweek Update, November 15th:

Requests:

• Pray for peace and protection for Israel and for the salvation of the nations.
• Pray for Harper Henderson, she is 19 years old and was in a recent car accident. She is in NICU and will be transported to the Shepherd’s Clinic in Atlanta in the coming days.  She is related to Crissy Tucker and Zach West.
• Pray for Sharon Dickman’s sister, Linda, who has been having mini strokes. Also, for the Dickman’s as they care for her parents with dementia.
• Pray for Joyce Scott’s daughter-in-law, Deborah Roth, who is still in the hospital.
• Pray for Charles Hill, who is in Brookshire Rehab for the next 21 days.
• Pray for Joan McFarlen’s great grandson, Ellis, for healing from RSV and pneumonia.
• Pray for Robin Arp’s dad, Mike Royster, who needs healing from heart and liver issues.
• Pray for Cindy Spee’s mother, Carolyn Batt, to regain her strength.
• Pray for Jim Forbes’ pain level to subside and for Kristy’s knee and hand issues.
• Pray for Mistie Hutchison as she continues to have problems with her hip.
• Pray for Susan Kearley’s healing from undiagnosed health issues.
• Pray for the Fox’s son-in-law, Craig, who has terminal cancer.
• Pray for the Aquila family as they take care of Abigail.
• Pray for Peggy Newton’s granddaughter, Chloe, who is struggling with making good choices. Also, Peggy’s daughter Christy’s health.
• Pray for Connie Larry’s family.
• Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and have been on extended deployment till January. Pray for their protection and for their four children as well.
• Pray for all our church family members who are homebound at this time to be encouraged in the Lord (Hutch & Betty Hutchison and Katie Crawford)
• Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
• Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening.

Updates:

• We are thankful for Carolyn Hulbert and her team in preparing Thanksgiving bags!
• We are thankful for our Adult Special Needs ministry called “Saturday Night Out” led by Joan and Ken McFarlen and all their helpers!
• We are thankful for all of you making “Shoeboxes” for Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child!
• We are thankful for your faithful giving to our Lord!
