  • Julie Martin went to the emergency room Wednesday and was diagnosed with pneumonia. “They gave me antibiotics and I have my IVIG treatment today [Friday]. Scott is sounding horrible and coughing a lot so he may need to go.”

  • Pray for our 35805 Christmas luncheon for the Senior Citizens in our community [Thursday].
  • Pray for Steve Call’s family in the passing of his brother Joel. His funeral will be this Saturday at Laughlin Funeral Home at 11:00am.
  • Pray for Joyce Scott’s family, in the passing of her daughter-in-law- Debbie Roth. Also, Joyce needs prayer for physical strength after a recent hospital stay.
  • Pray for Peggy Cranston, who was recently in the hospital and is now having test done. 
  • Pray for Harper Henderson, she is 19 years old and was in a recent car accident. She is in NICU and will be transported to the Shepherd’s Clinic in Atlanta when a room becomes available. She is related to Crissy Tucker and Zack West.
  • Pray for the Dickmans as they care for her parents with dementia.
  • Pray for Charles Hill, who is in Brookshire Rehab.
  • Pray for Robin Arp’s dad, Mike Royster, who needs healing from heart and liver issues. 
  • Pray for Cindy Spee’s mother, Carolyn Batt, to regain her strength.
  • Pray for Jim Forbes’ pain level to subside and for Kristy’s knee and hand issues.
  • Pray for Mistie Hutchison as she continues to have problems with her hip.
  • Pray for Susan Kearley’s healing from undiagnosed health issues. 
  • Pray for the Fox’s son-in-law, Craig, who has terminal cancer. 
  • Pray for the Aquila family as they take care of Abigail.    
  • Pray for Peggy Newton’s granddaughter, Chloe, who is struggling with making good choices. Also, Peggy’s daughter Christy’s health.
  • Pray for Connie Larry’s family.
  • Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and have been on extended deployment till January. Pray for their protection and for their four children as well. 
  • Pray for all our church family members who are homebound at this time to be encouraged in the Lord (Arnold Crumpton, Wally Fox and Katie Crawford)
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
  • Pray for Israel during these difficult days.
  • Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening. 

Updates:

  • We are thankful for Gary Humphrey and his kitchen team for our Men’s Prayer Breakfast meal and for all the guys who came to pray and feast!
  • We are thankful for our annual business meeting and the approval of our 2024 budget!
  • We are thankful for the wonderful fellowship in the “snow” last Sunday evening. Big thanks to Michael Cranston and Micah St. John for putting it all together!
  • We are thankful for the exceptional Ladies Christmas party on Monday night and for all who helped out to make it a memorable evening!
  • We are thankful for your faithful giving to our Lord!
