Requests:
- Cheryl McLaughlin has been sick. “I go to the doctor next week. I’m on steroids and and will probably be going back to pulmonary rehab. I will also have some test runs to see why I’m out of [breath] more quickly and adjust my meds. I’m sure my lifestyle is going to change to keep from getting exerted so easily. Just have the church pray.”
- Julie Martin says that her coughing is better but now she cannot sleep, is weak, and easily fatigued. She will be having a virtual appointment with an ENT very soon, hopefully today [Friday]. Please ask our compassionate Lord to provide Julie with effective and appropriate treatment so she can heal. Additionally, Scott Martin is having “back surgery next Wednesday to repair a T3 fracture in his back.” Please ask for complete recovery.
Older Requests:
- Cheryl Parker’s sister, Janice Haydu, has been battling cancer for years. A recent scan showed that the cancer has spread to her brain. The treatment is radiation therapy for a couple of weeks, then chemotherapy. Please ask our Great Shepherd to sustain Janice, to provide peace and freedom from pain/treatment side-effects. The doctors have said that her time may be short, but Janice “is a fighter” and has outlived her first diagnosis. Please also pray for Cheryl and the rest of the family as they come alongside Janice.
- Peggy Cranston is recovering from her colon cancer surgery, but the doctors have determined that the cancer has spread and metastasized (Stage 4). The family covets your prayers for wisdom and for the best care for Peggy, and for opportunities to the family for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Jan Kosovac goes to see her doctor for the results of her brain scan on January 25th. “Please ask for healing and peace.”
Updates:
- Kitty Call’s brother, John (72 yo, Houston, TX), was to have abdominal aneurysm surgery, but the doctor wants to wait six months after reviewing John’s CAT scan. Please continue to pray for opportunity for the gospel.
- Kira Broadwater was to see her doctor [Wednesday] to try medicine and ‘posture treatment’ to help with her back and shoulder pain. Please ask our merciful Lord to oversee her pain management, to help Kira to tolerate/not react to new medicine, and to give wisdom for her treatment and care.
- Kristy Forbes’ carpel tunnel surgery went well. She is home. Praises!
