Requests:

  • Steve Spray’s mom, Jean, has been taken to Crestwood Emergency with edema and weeping in both legs, and multiple bouts of vomiting. Please ask for correct diagnosis and treatment.
  • From Teresa Humphrey: “Kevin Writght’s father was taken to the hospital last night. He’s dehydrated and trying to get blood pressure leveled. Please keep his dad, Kevin and his sister in your prayers!” (Kevin works with Teresa)

Older Requests:

  • Cheryl Parker’s sister, Janice Haydu, has been battling cancer for years. A recent scan showed that the cancer has spread to her brain. The radiation treatment is complete. Janice went to her doctor, and the scan showed that she “now has a blood clot in her lungs and [the] cancer has spread to liver as well as the brain.” Please ask our Great Shepherd to sustain Janice, to provide peace and freedom from pain/treatment side-effects. Please also pray for Cheryl and the rest of the family as they come alongside Janice.
  • From Eric Edwards: “Please pray for Mike and his family. Mike was injured in a workplace fire late Saturday night and is now hospitalized. He is the owner of the business that sustained the fire damage.” We are working to get an update.

Updates:

  • Cheryl McLaughlin has “a lung function test next Tuesday… the heart doctor… put me on prednisone last week. So I feel better, but still out of breath at times…I go in about a month for a 3 month test on pre diabetes. But I am blessed.” Please ask our God of truth to reveal what is needed.
  • Jan Kosovac heard back from her doctors after her tests and scans. She does not have cancer, but she does have arthritis in her neck and spine. She will be using physical therapy to strengthen her core and body. Please continue to pray for “balance and mobility” and strength as she works through this diagnosis.
  • Melinda Stephens asks us to pray for Victoria and Lucas’ four year old nephew, Xander, who had emergency surgery to repair a tear in his diaphragm and collapsed lungs. The surgery went well, but he will stay in the children’s hospital in Birmingham for 4-6 weeks. “Pray that there is no infection.”
  • Beth Pearson’s family friend, Anton, was to have a heart catheterization, but could not because of blood clots in his lungs. He is now home with home health care.
  • Teresa Humphrey updated on Savannah, Ben and the baby. “She’s okay. Cramping and bleeding still, but she has an ultrasound on Wednesday to check and see what is going on. Please keep praying.”
  • Rocky Coyle had surgery on his aortic aneurysm and is going home! If you cannot see the picture below, please visit this link.
