Requests:

  • Jan Kosovac has three requests for prayer. 1. Her grand-nephew, Aiden, is having a root canal this afternoon on an abscessed tooth and has been suffering from terrible migraines. Please ask our Comforter for the easing of his pain and symptoms. 2. Jan’s brother, Ron, has a melanoma on his nose and will have surgery soon. The hope is that the melanoma has not spread beyond the surface of the skin. 3. A young woman, Katie, is due in 2 weeks, and until recently, the baby was breech. Now that the unborn little girl is in the right position, please ask that she not turn again prior to delivery.
  • Scott Martin’s new date for outpatient back surgery is Thursday. Please ask for favor and success.
  • Melinda Stephens says little Xander is still very sick in Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. She said, “Xander has a brain bleed. They are taking him off of blood thinners and will recheck him later tonight.”  Today, she updated: “Xander is scheduled for a surgery today to remove a tube from his right lung and he will have a brain scan to determine extent of the brain bleed.” This is in addition to his recovering from surgery for the torn diaphragm, pneumonia, and an infection in his arm at the IV site. Please cry out Xander’s name before the throne of grace and mercy.

Older Requests:

  • Cheryl Parker’s sister, Janice Haydu, has been battling cancer for years. “She is pretty weak, not a lot of energy but is supposed to start new treatment tomorrow [Tuesday]. Needs prayer for strength.”
  • Beth Pearson’s family friend, Anton is still in the hospital ICU. He has had a bleeding ulcer repaired and a IVC filter inserted to keep the blood clots from traveling. He continues to have irregular pulse and blood pressure. Please continue to lift Anton and the family to our mighty God for healing and for opportunities for the gospel.

Updates:

  • Colby Thomason, a father of five and coworker of David Sedberry, was released from the hospital Sunday, but they still don’t know what the issue is. “They suspect an auto-immune problem, but they are still trying to figure it out. He meets with more specialists this week.”
  • Teresa Humphrey updated on Savannah: “She is doing better but still a high risk for miscarriage.” As Teresa said, “I know that God is in total control and His will shall be seen and praised!”
