Requests:

  • Julie Martin asks we pray for their son’s father-in-law, John, who had a heart attack yesterday and lived. “They put a stent in, and he coded on the table and he was revived. He has been told he will make a full recovery but needs to make some lifestyle changes. Prayers appreciated. He is his wife’s caregiver as she had a stroke several years ago.” Please ask our Sovereign Lord to give the help and wisdom that is needed.

Older Requests:

  • Please pray that Mistie Hutchison’s hip will stay in place for 6-8 weeks and grow stronger. She has had 2 dislocations since her replacement surgery approximately five weeks ago. The doctor “seems fairly optimistic that if I can ever make it 6-8 weeks without my hip dislocating, then chances are it will stay in place long-term. It takes at least that long for the new parts to be molded into the surrounding tissue.” She has other medical issues that are complications. Please ask our Good Shepherd to tend to Miss Hutchison’s hip and help her to heal.  (10/2)
  • From Linda Jones for her sister, Patti Ryan, who has stage 2 lung cancer and has started chemotherapy and radiation. She has had 2 of 5 rounds of therapy. Her last chemo will be in January. Patti has lost her hair and is having a hard time swallowing. Patti’s first grandchild is to be born in November. Please ask our merciful High Priest to help her through the trial and to celebrate this new little one.
  • Steve Call’s brother, Joel, is in Huntsville Hospital Behavior Health with extreme confusion. Please ask Jehovah Jireh to provide truth and clarity for Joel and wisdom for his care.

Updates:

  • Shirley Fox was moved to rehab. Please ask our Intercessor to intervene on Miss Shirley’s behalf to rejuvenate and restore her as well as strengthen Wally and the family as they care for her.
  • Cindy Spee’s mother, Carolyn Batt, ” is settled in at Redstone Village showing good progress. We will meet with team next week to determine when she will be able to return to Merrill Garden. The physical therapist indicated she may be ready next week!” Please ask our All Sufficient One to give mercy and help to Miss Carolyn, and strength to the family as they care for her.
  • Becky Martin’s scan on her neck indicated a lipoma, and they “need to decide when to have it removed.”
