Requests:

  • Shirley Fox is in Madison Hospital (since Wednesday) with weakness, fainting, and erratic blood pressure, along with other issues. So far the tests results have been inconclusive, and the doctor is calling Miss Shirley “an enigma.” Please ask our Intercessor to intervene on Miss Shirley’s behalf to rejuvenate and restore her as well as strengthen Wally and the family as they care for her.
  • Please pray that Mistie Hutchison’s hip will stay in place for 6-8 weeks and grow stronger. She has had 2 dislocations since her replacement surgery approximately five weeks ago. The doctor “seems fairly optimistic that if I can ever make it 6-8 weeks without my hip dislocating, then chances are it will stay in place long-term. It takes at least that long for the new parts to be molded into the surrounding tissue.” She has other medical issues that are complications. Please ask our Good Shepherd to tend to Miss Hutchison’s hip and help her to heal.

  • Julie Martin continues to struggle with her health. She now has a nebulizer and a new round of antibiotics, and may have pneumonia. Her bloodwork results should be available on Monday. Please continue to ask our sweet Jesus to heal Julie. Becky’s mono test was negative, but “she sounds horrible and has a swollen lump [on the back of] her neck.”
  • From Teen de Roode for her nephew-in-law, Matt. Matt has cancer that has spread to his brain from [metastatic] breast cancer. Please ask our omnipotent God to show mercy and help to Matt.
  • From Linda Jones for her sister, Patti Ryan, who has stage 2 lung cancer and will be starting chemotherapy and radiation. She is to have five rounds of therapy. Her praise is that Patti’s first grandchild is to be born in November. Please ask our merciful High Priest to help her through the trial and to celebrate this new little one.
