  • Maria Acosta asks for prayer for her niece, Lisa (34yo), in Delaware, who was found unresponsive this morning. “Please pray for God’s mercy and healing hands to be over her and over the doctors treating her at the hospital.” **Lastest update: Lisa had an interaction between medications. “She is now responsive and doing much better.”
  • Jennifer Warren lost her nephew last night. “She is talking to her sisters, and they need prayers prayers prayers.”

    • Pray for Julie Summers’ health as she is having some tests run.
    • Pray for Laura Monty, a friend of Bruce Aquila from high school, who lives outside of Salt Lake City. She is having open heart by-pass surgery on Thursday morning.
    • Pray for Chris Gunnels as he continues to fight a brain tumor. 
    • Pray for Joyce Scott’s physical strength after a recent hospital stay.
    • Pray for Peggy Cranston to regain strength and for a correct diagnosis.  
    • Pray for Harper Henderson, who is now at Shepherd’s Clinic in Atlanta. She is 19 yrs. old and had a car accident. Harper is related to Crissy Tucker and Zack West.
    • Pray for Dickman’s as they care for her parents with dementia.
    • Pray for Charles Hill, who is now in Regency Rehab.
    • Pray for Robin Arp’s dad, Mike Royster, who needs healing from heart and liver issues (Mike and his wife, Pat were in our Worship service Sunday).
    • Pray for Cindy Spee’s mother, Carolyn Batt, to regain her strength.
    • Pray for Mistie Hutchison as she continues to heal from her hip surgeries. 
    • Pray for Susan Kearley’s healing from undiagnosed health issues. 
    • Pray for the Fox’s son-in-law, Craig, who has terminal cancer. 
    • Pray for the Aquila family as they take care of Abigail.    
    • Pray for Peggy Newton’s granddaughter, Chloe, who is struggling with making good choices. Also, Peggy’s daughter Christy’s health issues. 
    • Pray for Connie Larry’s family.
    • Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and have been on extended deployment till January. Pray for their protection and for their four children as well. 
    • Pray for all our church family members who are homebound at this time to be encouraged in the Lord (Loretta Pruitt, Shirley Fox and Ronnie Cribbs)
    • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
    • Pray for Israel during these difficult days.
    • Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening.

    • We are thankful for all the volunteers that made our 35805 Christmas luncheon so wonderful!

    • We are thankful that Stephen Six finished his Master’s of Arts in Teaching Instrumental Music degree at UAH!
    • We are thankful that Michael Acosta graduated from Southern Seminary last week!

  • Julie and Scott Martin are both home but not yet recovered from their recent hospital stays. Julie says she is “still coughing and weak. I’m on some strong antibiotics and nebulizer treatments.”Please ask our Lord of life to rest His hand on Julie and Scott and renew their sick bodies.

Updates:

  • Jim Forbes says that Kristy “is doing well, is still in some discomfort, but the pain is manageable… Kristy was planning on taking it easy for the two weeks plus, even without the surgery.” Continue to pray for Jim as he is in chronic pain along with other medical issues and trouble sleeping.
