Updates:
- Mike Poland is doing great; Debbie says that “Mike is being Mike.” For a little background, Debbie was out of town on Sunday when Mike had his heart problem. His heart rate dropped to zero, and it happened again on the way to the hospital. Debbie was able to get back in town in time for the pace maker procedure on Monday. In God’s provision, Mike was at church when his heart event happened, not home alone or in the car. Debbie says he has a followup with his doctor on Monday.
- Melinda Stephens re little Xander: He was to have surgery yesterday [Tuesday] ‘because of fluid in the chest causing problems for his heart. Pray for strength. His little body has gone through so much.” Xander had a congenital problem in his diaphragm that caused the tear and then the resulting lung collapse and organ shifts. He has been in a medically induced coma for much of the time for healing and to lessen his anxiety. Please continue to ask for our precious Shepherd to intercede on Xander’s behalf and for rest and encouragement for Xander’s famly.
