  • Lucille Szafraniec’s stepson passed away from liver failure. Please ask our Comforter to minister to Miss Lucille and the family.
  • Jan Kosovac’s good friend, Betty Kruse, is needing heart surgery to repair an aneurysm on her aorta/aortic valve. Please ask our Shepherd to walk with her during this trial, to give wisdom as she consults with doctors, and for peace.

Requests:

  • Pray for Kathy Sanderson, who started a special radioactive iodine treatment last week. Pray it will absorb every cancer cell in her body, specifically her lungs.         
  • Pray for Peggy Newton’s daughter, Christy, who is having a PET scan today.
  • Pray for Aarika Harris’ dad, who will be having prostate cancer surgery soon. Also, pray for peace as they plan to move (sell/buy houses) to be closer to family.
  • Pray for Sharon Dickman as she cares for her parents. 
  • Pray for Bob Miller, who is home regaining his strength.
  • Pray for Chris Gunnels, Principal at Harvest Elementary, who dealing with brain cancer and has taken a medical retirement. 
  • Pray for Mary Wilhite, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. 
  • Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and are being deployed for the next four months. Pray for their protection and for their four children as well. 
  • Pray for Ronnie Cribbs, who is having difficult days with his health situation. Also, for Belinda as she is his primary caregiver.
  • Pray for all our church family members who are homebound, to be encouraged in the Lord.
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
  • Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening. 
  • Pray for our students and leaders as they go to Youth Camp May 29-June 2.

  • Jan Kosovac asks for prayer for her SIL’s nephew, Jack, 17 years old, battling cancer with chemotherapy and radiation. Jack now needs platelets. Please ask our merciful, sovereign Lord to help provide what is needed for Jack.
  • Kristy Forbes has shingles and is back at work part time. Please ask for pain relief and quick healing.

Updates:

  • Teresa Humprey’s mom “is doing well. They are waiting on a pathology report to come back today and hopefully she can go home. The doctor feels like he got clear margins but they will know with the report. This is her third colon cancer surgery.” [via Sandra Gossett]
  • Cindy Roper is home. Her daughter, Jennifer, said, “She is doing good! We are cooking breakfast together!” [via Sandra Gossett]
