  • For Peggy Cranston’s brother, Bobby Funke, who is having back issues. “They are holding off on surgery to see how he does today. They want him up and walking with the brace to see if there is any further compression of the disc. We are looking at a spinal fusion otherwise. Keep us in your prayers and that the choices we make are the right ones. We are giving it to God’s power and grace.”
  • Maria Acosta asks us to pray for her dearest friend and sister in Christ, Ruth, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Ruth “is having colon cancer surgery this Thursday – please pray that out Lord would grant favor and blessing- that [the doctors] find no lymph node involvement, …for uneventful surgery and recovery for Ruth.”

  • Pray for Kids Kamp that started today and goes through Friday.  
  • Pray for Men’s GridIron this Friday and Saturday.
  • Pray for our Honduras mission trip on June 22-30. 
  • Pray for Jim Gilliland, in the passing of his wife, Wanda.  
  • Pray for Bob Eidson’s son-in-law Eric, who is in SICU following a serious car accident.
  • Pray for Connie Larry’s family.
  • Pray for Kathy Sanderson’s healing.  
  • Pray for Loretta Pruitt who is in the hospital.
  • Pray for Julie Martin, who will be having surgery at the end of this month. 
  • Pray for the Aquila family as they take care of Abigail.    
  • Pray for Sharon Dickman as she cares for her parents.   
  • Pray for Mary Wilhite, who was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. 
  • Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and have been deployed for the next three months. Pray for their protection and for their four children as well.
  • Pray for all our church family members who are homebound, to be encouraged in the Lord (Sue Setzer, Cindy Roper and Judy Tackett).
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
  • Pray for Chris Gunnels, Principal at Harvest Elementary, who dealing with brain cancer and has taken a medical retirement. 
  • Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening.

  • We are thankful for a great team of workers for Kids Kamp!
  • We are thankful for the birth of Ezekiel (Zeke) Levi Price and his parents Michael and Laura Price!
  • We are thankful for our recent graduates!
  • We are thankful for your faithful giving to our Lord!

Older Requests:

  • Jan Kosovac asked for prayer for her SIL’s nephew, Jack (17 years old), who is battling cancer with chemotherapy/radiation and needed platelets. “He got the platelets but is back in the hospital because of the effects of the chemo. Really needed prayer. He is getting very discouraged.” Please ask our merciful, sovereign Lord to help provide what is needed for Jack.

Updates:

  • Wally Fox is asking for prayer for his son-in-law, Craig Hilbert. Craig’s experimental treatment has been extremely difficult but has given them hope. With God nothing is impossible; please pray for mercy for Craig and his family.  (6/8)
