  • From Felicia Atnip: “Little Zoe had a brain scan and an EEG due to all the seizures she had. They have discovered that she has significant brain damage. We are all praying for healing for our precious Zoe. Would you please remember Brad and Laura in your prayers. They are both struggling with this news. Thank you again for all your prayers.”   (Aug 20)

Updates:

  • Jared Nelson’s mother-in-law, Daphney, had neurosurgery on Thursday to remove a brain tumor. “… she did great and they removed most of the tumor. There was some close to speech areas that they left but they will do an MRI [Friday] morning to confirm everything. [The doctor] said she’s still having some trouble communicating, but they think it should improve based on what they saw. He told them … after the surgery he would think through the treatment plan and maybe a trial.” Update on Friday: “the MRI looks good and [the doctor] will do another one in a couple of weeks. He will be able to tell more then what was tumor and what was tissue. She will have to do speech therapy when she comes home. She literally can’t communicate at all. They said she will have to re-learn how to speak, but that it should all come back.”  [via Sharon Nelson]    (Aug 18)
  • Beth Pearson said the entire family now has Covid. Please ask for healing and recovery.  (Aug 19)
