Requests:

  • Tony Duncan passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 4th, while mowing the yard. He was 84 years young. More information will be sent as arrangements are finalized. Please ask our Comforter to minister to Paula and the family during this difficult time.
  • Susan Kearley is experiencing health issues that health care professionals have been unable to diagnose. Please ask our Omniscient, All-Knowing God to give revelation and truth to Susan, her doctors, and wisdom in her care.
  • Two young boys in New York state, Owen (4yo) and Ryder (7yo), were in their car when it was hit head-on by a person driving the wrong way on a highway trying to elude police. The boys were airlifted to Burlington, Vermont to the Pediatric Trauma Hospital there. The grandparents were driving the car; the grandmother was killed and the grandfather is in serious condition. Please ask our compassionate Lord to heal the hurts, the physical and emotional wounds, and give the family comfort during this time.  [from Kitty Call]

Requests:

  • Pray for Kathy Sanderson’s nephew, Biff (44 yrs. old), who is having colon cancer surgery today. Also, Kathy has a follow up appointment next week with her oncologist.
  • Pray for Felicia Atnip as she recovers from eye surgery yesterday.
  • Pray for Todd Norton as he recovers from gallbladder surgery.
  • Pray for Earl Ray’s healing.
  • Pray for Jim Forbes as he consults his doctor in Nashville and for his healing.
  • Pray for Sue Setzer, who is now at Regency rehab regaining her strength.
  • Pray for the Fox’s son-in-law, Craig, who has terminal cancer.
  • Pray for the Aquila family as they take care of Abigail.
  • Pray for Dickman’s as they care for her parents with dementia, especially for stamina.
  • Pray for Connie Larry’s family.
  • Pray for Judy Tackett, who fell and broke her shoulder and is now under hospice care.
  • Pray for John and Mandy Boyd. Mandy had been our police officer on Sundays. She and her husband serve in the National Guard and have been deployed for the last 6 months and are expected back any day! Pray for their protection and for their four children as well.
  • Pray for all our church family members who are homebound at this time, to be encouraged in the Lord (Ronnie Cribbs, Eveleene Hollingsworth and Shirley Fox).
  • Pray for our Ukrainian friends’ safety, provision, and protection.
  • Pray for our country to experience a spiritual awakening.

  • We are thankful and congratulations to Suzanne Van Dyke on her grandson, Ryker Crew Van Dyke, born on August 18!
  • We are thankful for Chris Gunnels’ great report from Duke University concerning his healing from brain cancer!
  • We are thankful for your faithful giving to our Lord!
