Update from the team last night (8/17/22): “It’s always hard on the last day!  We split into two teams for food Ministry today. One team drove up into the mountains to visit a family that Stan has been ministering to for years. They have seen a lot of tragedy but are walking with Jesus through it. Stan’s friend is 78 years old and is still working hard to provide for his family. Over the years he has lost a daughter to glioblastoma, at the age of ten, he lost another daughter that was struck by lightning walking across their yard, she was only 17, and he lost his wife to cancer. Even through all of that he was praising God’s faithfulness in his life!  The second team spent a few hours visiting people that live near the Farm. They were able to pray and encourage a lot of families!  We spent the afternoon at the Farm. Our ladies spent a couple hours sharing testimonies, and hearing testimonies, with the Honduran ladies that serve on the Farm.  They are all starting a the same Bible Study and are committed to praying for each other. Kevin and Michael got together with the the older ministry boys and their teacher for about an hour encouraging them in the Word!  We ended the day with a fun night of bingo. We had lots of fun and there were tons of prizes. Afterwards, we said some sad goodbyes!  We definitely saw God move in our hearts and the hearts of many people that we came in contact with. We are so thankful for your prayers this week. Hasta pronto!”

This morning the team left the farm for the airport at about 8:30AM. They have a long day of traveling ahead of them to get home this evening. Please pray for safe travel. Thanks for keeping up with the team throughout the week and for all your prayers. It is such a blessing to be a part of this church family!
