The Legacy Project
The West Huntsville Baptist Church leadership team released plans for a building expansion in 2014 that would be known as the Legacy Center. Over the past nine years, you have prayed for and given money toward this project. The original plans have undergone multiple revisions while building costs have soared. The updated plans now called the Legacy Project include development of both interior and exterior spaces.
It is our desire that the Legacy Project glorify God by allowing Him to equip His West Huntsville Baptist Church to serve as a disciplemaking ministry center that will reach and serve the 35805 community, Huntsville, and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Funding
Our contractors have informed us that the timeline for the Legacy Project, starting with the signing of the construction contract and ending with our occupancy, will be between 12-18 months. We continue to trust the Lord for a debt-free project completion.
We now find ourselves at a critical moment with the Legacy Project. Our challenge is to raise the additional funds in a timely manner, which would save us from additional construction costs.
We can meet this challenge and lock in current constructions costs by committing the additional 30% of project funds to be given by the end of 2024. Accomplishing this would allow us to move ahead with the first steps of the Legacy Project in January 2024.
